Program Manager, Autism Services

Michelle has been with Easterseals Hawaii and the Autism Services program since 2018 where her focus has been on expanding reach and increasing the ability to provide quality autism services throughout the Hawaiian Islands, including opening center-based services at our Napuakea location.

In 1991, she was introduced to Special Olympics participants which completely changed her life and inspired her to pursue a clinical career. Prior to joining Easterseals Hawaii, she facilitated a 10-bed residential program with Easterseals Arkansas and managed an adult day program with Easterseals Southern California. Having worked in the field of developmental disabilities and mental health for over two decades, Michelle is a consummate advocate for the dignity, equality, and independence of those we serve.

Michelle is a mother to beautiful daughters and a fur baby named Makana. She loves the water and nature, and calls Hawaii home. Her motto is ‘be good – do good’ and she strives to achieve both in her personal and professional life.
